The ticking of the metronome marks the passing days of Adele and her daughter, Sara. Every moment is a beat that slips away because Adele suffers from Alzheimer’s and is not ready to admit it. She doesn’t want to stand between Sara and her future, as the girl is about to leave for America. But even when memory fades, the heart continues to remember, though its shape may be imperfect.
